Back encapsulation is the best option in my opinion. The advantage is, no need for expensive silicone encapsulants. The back encapsulation prevents much of the resin from UV exposure. These are dew safe water tight 100% The humidity is as bad as it can get where we live. If they do not get wet here, they are safe anywhere. Buster was about 3 years old when he wandered in the veterinarian’s office in early 1995 while our dog Sweetie was getting her yearly shots. We took him home:-) 16 great years. If not for the rare lymp cancer that started 5 months ago, he would have lived a few more years. He passed away while I was filming the foggy camera section of this video.

my solar panels from harbourfreight , they are a little expensive per watt , but a cheap system to get started with. it’s 2- 45 watt systems that i am using . it incudes enough to make light , you need to buy the inverter and batteries to store the eletric for night use

Flexible Solar Panel to Grid-tie inverter Green DIY Save electric. These new flexible solar panels are very powerful and how up very nicely. They dont have glass to worry about breaking in a storm. During an overcast day and with the flexible solar panel on the ground it was putting out 15-18 watts with no issue at all. During the week of June 21, 2010, I had a photovoltaic solar system installed at my home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The installation took place over two days, with the panels installed the first day and the electrical connections completed the second day. The system consists of 18 235-Watt panels, and each panel has a dedicated inverter installed under the solar panel. As you can see, the crews were fast, neat and professional. I shot this with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 digital camera and edited it using Corel VideoStudio Pro x2. Edit: The new digital electric meter was installed on July 14, 2010, so this system is now generating power and feeding the grid.
